Registration and Payment:  You can now register and pay online or stop in the office to register.  Payment can be made in person or by the phone using Visa/MasterCard.  Registration forms must be completed before the first class.  Your child is continuously enrolled in our program. Payments are due before the 1st of each month to keep your child's spot in class.  Auto-pay is available for your convenience, or we offer 25% off your annual tuition if you pay for the full year!

 

Annual Membership Fee:  $35 per family.  This fee is non-refundable.

 

Multi-Family Member Discount:  Student with the highest fee is full rate.  Each additional child will receive a $10 discount.

 

Flip Starz Fit Kid Club (Multiple Classes Discount):  

Becoming a Fit Kid is FREE! Just sign up for 2 classes each week and receive the following club benefits: 

•50% off your 2nd class each month

•$5 Open Gym every Friday

 

Coupons and Discounts: Only one coupon/discount allowed per student.  If your child receives a 2nd child discount or a 2nd class discount, no other coupon/discount can be applied to their account.   

 

Make Up Policy:  

•All make-up classes NEED to be made up within that month of the missed class.  If you fail to make up a class within that time frame, you will forfeit that make-up.

•Make-up classes MUST be scheduled in advance and are offered on a space availability basis. Please call/email gym prior to or the day of the missed class to schedule.

•No refunds are given for missed classes.

•Student MUST check in at the office before entering the gym.

 

StarFest: StarFest is a performance where family and friends are invited into the gym. They will have the opportunity to watch circuits and skills the kids have been working on all year long. They will show skills on each of the events. At the end of the performances, each participant will receive a gymnastics medal or trophy.  They will be presented on the first place podium (great photo opportunity!)

 

Attendance:  If only one student shows up for class that time for class is reduced in half.

 

Referrals:  Current students will receive a referral credit of $10 on their account for every new student registered for class and/or every birthday party that is booked from a NEW member.  A NEW member is anyone who HAS NOT attended Flip Starz Gymnastics Academy.

 

Child Drop Off & Pick Up:  A parent/guardian will be required to pick up each child, unless prior arrangements have been made.  Students should arrive no more than 5 - 10 minutes early for class.  There will be a $5 charge to parents more than 10 minutes late picking up their child.

Viewing Room:  This room is available for you to watch your child during his/her class.  Parents are not allowed in the gym for any reason unless escorted by a staff member.  Siblings must be supervised in the viewing area.  Toys and books should be put away at the end of class, so the next visitors may use them.

​

Restroom/Valuables:  To take advantage of your child's full class time, we strongly encourage you to take your child to the bathroom immediately before class.  We are not responsible for any valuable's you bring to the gym.  

​

Snow Days and Holidays:  Flip Starz follows Waterford School District school closings for AM classes only.  Please call the gym after 2pm or check the front page of our website to see if evening classes are running.

​

Emergency Dismissal:  In the event of an emergency closing, the office staff will notify parents as quickly as possible.  You may be asked to "sign out" your child.  Please keep telephone numbers current on your child's registration card.

​

Bulletin Board/Newsletter:  Please read our newsletters and check the parents bulletin board which will inform you of any special dates or activities.

Starz Shoppe:  Our Starz Shoppe offers a wide variety of gymnastics, cheer apparel, equipment and supplies.  Snacks, juice and water can also be purchased in the pro shop.  We stock a large variety of leotards in many colorful patterns and fashionable styles.  T-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, socks, gym bags, key chains and jewelry which all make wonderful gifts.  We also offer a variety of supplies including grips, wrist bands and athletic tape.  Practice mats and balance beams are available by special order.  Please inquire with the office.

Private Lessons:  Flips Starz offers private and semi-private lessons for children of all ages and abilities.  Lessons are designed around the need of each individual including tumbling for cheerleaders, high school gymnasts, preschool and school age children wanting their own special time.  Private lessons for our team gymnasts should be scheduled with your team coach. 

​

Open Gym:  What a great opportunity for students to explore the activities on their own terms.  The times are supervised by Flip Starz staff; however, these are not instructional times.  Although many of the participants are enrolled students, you do not need to be one to participate. We welcome our students, friends and family in this program.  Non-members must have a signed waiver/permission slip on file to attend. Open to all children ages 5 and up. Punch card's can be purchased in the office during regular office hours.  Please check the class schedule for Open Gym times and days.

Class Attire

Girls:  Leotards (no skirts attached), no jewelry.  Should be barefoot or gymnastics shoes.  Hair should be pulled back into a pony tail or braids if hair is at shoulder length or longer.  The girls can wear any type of leotard and any color.  They may wear shorts over their leotards as long as they are athletic elastic-waisted.  No zippers, pants or tights.

Boys:  Athletic shorts that are elastic-waisted and a t-shirt that can be tucked in.  Boys should have bare feet.  NO baggy shirts or pants.  No jewelry or zippers.
